Fitread accessibility
Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA. We have not completed verification of the current screens, so we do not claim full conformance.

What has been tested
The last recorded review was on and , on the current screens. It covered the home page's scan, readings, the Dashboard, the Tracker, the Editor and Tailor, Account and Help, by keyboard, for what a screen reader is given (names, roles and live updates), with reduced motion, on a phone and a desktop, and with automated checks.
Most journeys work by keyboard: dialogs keep focus inside, close with Escape and give focus back, and the reading's report has headings, real tables and named buttons.
Known issues and checks still needed
- With no free readings left, moving through the Dashboard by keyboard opens the upgrade dialog when focus reaches the job box.
- On the home page, focus is not kept on the scan while it reads your CV.
- After Skip on a skill, focus moves to the top of the page.
- The Tailor guide's Close button shows no focus outline, and the job box's moving shine does not stop when you ask for reduced motion.
We are fixing these and will check them again. This statement was last updated on .
