The 7-day trial is on Pro quarterly, once per person. You add a card to start it. There is no subscription charge during the trial. Your plan page shows the date it ends.

If you have not cancelled, £69.99 is charged when the trial ends, then £69.99 every 3 months (£23.33 a month) until you cancel.

Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the subscription charge. Pro stays on until the trial's last day, then your account moves to Free.

No. Monthly is £34.99 a month, charged when you choose it, then every month until you cancel.

On your plan page, press Manage billing. It opens your Stripe billing page, where you can cancel, change your card and see receipts. You can also ask us to cancel. Contact Fitread.

Within 14 days of your first payment, cancelling refunds that payment in full and Pro ends at once. After that, Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your readings, CVs, tracker and saved drafts stay in your account and can be exported. They are kept until you delete them or your account is unused for 5 years. Deleting all your Fitread data does not cancel Pro: to stop paying, cancel in Manage billing.

You pay on Fitread's checkout page, in Stripe's payment form. It shows the payment methods available for your subscription, device and browser.

Fitread Ltd is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. You are charged in pounds (GBP). Your card issuer may convert the payment if your account uses another currency.

Your card number goes straight to Stripe from its payment form on our checkout page, never to Fitread. We keep references to your subscription and its plan status; we never see or store your card number.

Signed out, your CV is read in memory and never stored; the reading is kept for 24 hours. Signed in, every reading saves its CV in private file storage, and only your account can download it. To write AI text, your CV and the advert are sent to Anthropic, which runs the Claude model for us. You can delete any CV or reading, or everything, at any time. How we handle your CV.

Pro stays on for 7 days while you update your card in Manage billing. If the payment still fails, your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted by the plan change.

No. It reads any CV against any UK advert: contract, temp or permanent, in any sector. It started with UK contracts.

Yes. A temp advert shows its pay exactly as stated, with shifts, start and availability. A permanent advert shows salary, notice and start as stated; there is no permanent market salary comparison. Job Match lists contract, temp and permanent jobs alike.

Only to company jobs you pick in Auto apply, paid with credits. Otherwise a reading links to the job page and you apply there; the Tracker keeps the record.

Not if you are signed out: the file is read in memory and discarded, and only the reading (skills found, figures and advice) is kept, for 24 hours, then deleted. A free score from the home page opens only on the browser you used, for 30 minutes; sign up then to keep it. Signed in, every reading saves its CV in your CV manager, kept until you delete it; you can delete readings and CVs at any time.

Applying on a job's own page is free on every plan, and so are job alerts and the Tracker. Job Match is free with a shorter list, and Auto apply uses credits. Fitread's services, and what they cost.

Your 5 free readings come back 30 days after the day you use the first one (UK time); your Dashboard and account page show the day. Unused readings do not carry over. Re-checking your CV in the Editor does not use a reading.
